This battery grip is a korean-manufactured device which is of a really high quality. A tripod thread is availble underneath the grip, allowing the camera to be attached easily to a tripod. The Battery Grip is ergonomically designed and look seemlessly like an original extension to the Alpha 100 camera. It possesses a shutter button but does not come with any control dial(s). It is recommended that this device be used with the original battery packs.
