CAMBODIA - Busy Busy Busy...

Published in smilesSiem ReapCambodia by Julian W.

Wow, it's been four days since I wrote something here..the action has really got heated here for the past couple of days. My buddies, Gary and Jay, who flew over to join me, has got me on my creative edges with their endless inspirations...I guess my Sony Alphas will have to work harder for the rest of our holiday duration!

It's really refreshing to have Jay on this trip with us. I've never done photography on a field trip with him before and it's really intriguing to think that how two adverse style of photographers can do a travel trip together! Jay is the polific and profusive (hmm...perhaps an understatement?) shooter who has no qualms about firing away. On the other hand, I prided myself to be the careful shooter who think about each and every shot before I banged on the shutter. Hmm...what's the "concoction"? I eneded up shooting an average of 400 shots a day where I only expect myself to happily achieve a 100 or so! Jay is so-ever enthusiastic about his photography and goes around "reminding" and telling us about where to get the best angles, lightings etc...on a lighter note, it's really good to follow at times, and this is one perfect time when I think I appreciate his leadership tremendously.

And there is Gary! He has followed me on a field trip to Sri Lanka two years ago and was hooked with me from then on! Gary is a great friend to travel with, and he is fine with whatever arrangements that has been planned for him. With Gary around, there's much laughter and travelling suddenly becomes a "hazzle-less" thingee to do...yes, all of a sudden.

Talking about endless inspirations...I should have enough quality images to bring back home already even though there are still some days to go. Of course, this unholy photographic trinity is taking the trip extremely seriously and looking forward to creating more great pictures!

I'll be going with the guys to see Bantrey Srei and the Thousand Lingga Budhhas tomorrow. I know that it will be another great day, so stay tuned for more bloggies coming up soon okies?

Gotta go now...it's approaching 12mn and we're setting off at 630am later....
