Somehow to compensate for a day of inactivity yesterday, I was "injected" with a dose of resolution to be up really early! So imagine....I was up at 4:45am today to take an early morning stroll beside the Mekong River, much in line with the Khmerians who are there for a similar purpose :)

Tremendous photo oppportunities early in the morning! I had a great time snapping away, and I must have taken more than 100 photos within a short span of 1 hour!

Managed to spend some time to talk to the locals too...and guess what? We communicated in Mandarin and Hokkien! It was truly heartwarming to see "Överseas-Chinese" and amazingly, I felt this impregnable common bond. It is truly a celebration of human unity and harmony.  What a fitting finale before I say adieu to Phnom Penh!

By 8:30am, I was on the bus to Siem Reap. Due to the number of tourist going via the popular service,  the bus comes packaged with drinks/snacks, and....a tour guide too! Although the journey took 6 hours, it didn't feel anything like it cos it's really comfortable.  It was no hassle at all to find a comfortable hotel (yup, that is right in the heart of the action) and as if in one breath, I have also managed to secure my tour-guide-cum-tuk-tuk-driver for the next few days.

I'm ready for action...Angkor Wat!
