Nature Photography workshop - CSS

Due to other teaching engagements, it has been a while since I�conduct a workshop in a school environment. �Knowing the kids are energetic and breathing short of attention span, I'm thankful that they sat through the presentation without dozing off!

Countdown to Darwin!

And yup...Crikey! This time round, I will be paying Darwin (Australia) a visit at the end of the month. A beautifully piece of Mother Nature left pretty much untouched, Darwin sits comfortably at the top of the Australian continent, facing the Timor Sea. If you like to get close and "wild" with nature, culture and and wildlife, this is ther place you would probably like to visit.

A Purrrrfect Day!

Theoretically speaking, this presentation is different from other seminars that I've done cos the majority of the audience are in their teens. As we are know, this group of hyperactive young adults have short attention spans and I know that I need to grab their attention.

With a pot of orchid in hand, I made my entrance. I think I've made a successful first move. It caught their attention! They have this "What is a photographer doing with a pot of orchid??" look and [...]
