A progressive step - Getting a place

Hmm..So what's the hype about? As the title suggests, the fact is I have been looking around (for ages!) for a suitable place to set up a studio cum training classroom. All thanks to my wonderful associate Patrick, I now have access to a 2nd storey shophouse for this purpose! The place is located in Kampong Glam (along Kandahar Street), just on the fringe of the Central Business District.

However, things didn't work out at the very last minute. The existing owners pulled out at the very last minute even though they has given me their commitment. They mentioned that it was because they got a better deal from another tenant. Hmm..I can understand the business reason for that decision, but I really cannot accept the fact that they do not have the credibility that is deemed as the basic principle in doing business.

Darwin is located in Northern Australia and is deemed as the starting point to a great Aussie Outback adventure! Crocodiles, wallabies, parakeets and native animals roam this aboriginal landscape that is fondly known as the "Great Outback".

Still undecided if I can go over to the countryside. On one hand, the photos opportunities there are definitely better, but the cost of getting there might be a little too out of hand. Check around today, it would cost me around USD$250 just to get to my destination! Not to mentiuon that it will also take two days (or around 18 hours of travel) just to reach there. Perhaps I should change course...
